About PlayWord.games

PlayWord.games is a free, browser-based word puzzle site. There's nothing to download and nothing to sign up for — every puzzle loads and plays right in your browser, on desktop or mobile.

We started with word search puzzles, organized into categories like animals, science, food, geography, and more. Each puzzle is built from a curated word list, along with a short write-up on the topic and each word, so there's always something to read alongside something to solve. Every puzzle can be replayed with a freshly shuffled layout at any time using the "New Puzzle" button, without changing the word list.

Word search is just the start. The site is built to support additional puzzle types over time, so expect more variety as PlayWord.games grows.
